Our Artisan made Pom Pom Throws are hand loomed in Essaouira using a traditional weaving technique ’Tissage’ (in French, meaning flat weave). Tissage is a weaving method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. 

Our Pom Pom blankets and throws are made by a Master artisan named Nawwawi. Originally from Safi, he started weaving at age 12 and is one of around 500 Tissage Master artisans left in Morocco. As a father or 3, he supports his family through his workshop. 

These throws are:
